Valentines week, February 2024 sees Backyard Cinema’s critically acclaimed screenings of Baz Luhrmann’s iconic 1996 Romeo+Juliet, enjoyed by over 60 thousand fans, return to their celebrated home at the historic Union Chapel in Islington, North London to celebrate a decade of sold out shows.

What once started as a passion project in its founders’ very own back garden, Backyard Cinema has now grown to be one of the leading alternative cinema experiences in the UK.
